Question Would i loose much fps if i use pcie 4.0 GPU in 2.0 pcie slot

So i want to upgrade my GPU from RX 460 2gb to RX 6400 4gb and i have pcie express 2.0 x16
Shuld i upgrade IT or look for a other GPU?

I would get a different gpu. The performance loss will be massive since it's only x4 pcie fitted.

Its hard to get other GPU bcs i dont have 6 pin or 8 pin so it need to be GPU that use only motherboard and the RX 6400 is the best choise for GPU without 6 or 8 pin

You will not "lose" any FPS over what you have now. (the CPU mostly controls the FPS)
You may not gain as much performance you might in a different system.

That PSU is right on the edge of NotEnuff.
AMD recommends a 350W PSU.

And being old....I probably wouldn't put that GPU in that system.

That's fair. You should be very concerned of using a psu with no six pin connectors. Verify compatibility.

As stated earlier, the CPU is mostly in charge of what FPS you get. Depending on the game in question.
The GPU provides the eyecandy for whatever frame the CPU provides.

Ive seen that RX 460 use more watt then rx6400
So it may work i think
