Question Would I need to change the bios with this memory

Would I need to change bios if I added more crucial ram. if it is the exact same model

Nothing to change in the BIOS , but adding is hit and miss even if identical.

Memory is guaranteed in the form sold. Adding extra memory has no guarantee to be compatible with your existing memory.

What happens is the extra stress on the memory controller makes the memory unable to operate at rated specifications.

Workarounds to get extra memory to work include:
Changing BIOS settings:
lower memory clock speed
relax DRAM timings
raise DRAM voltage
