Would installing a high end powersupply fan side up would be fine? im thinking of getting this powersupply right here https://www.asus.com/Graphics-Cards-Accessories/ROG-THOR-850P/ would placing it fan up for aesthetic purposes (rgb and screen) cause components to reach high temperatures or overheat?

YES , but temps will be slightly higher in the case.
