Would it be a good idea for me to add an SSD to a laptop to save money?

So I am looking at getting a new laptop, here in the UK I can buy an

"ACER Nitro 5 15.6" AMD Ryzen 5 RX 560X Gaming Laptop - 1 TB HDD & 128 GB SSD
Product code: 241340" for £749.99

or I can buy the

"ACER Nitro 5 15.6" Intel® Core™ i5 GTX 1050 Gaming Laptop - 1 TB HDD"

Would it be worth buying an SSD (240gb) and putting it in myself to save some cash? If so is there anything I should avoid doing and does anyone know how to do the addition of an SSD.

Thanks!

Solution
If you want the OS to be on the SSD without having to do anything then it's much simpler if you buy a laptop with an SSD preinstalled -- the OS will already be on the SSD by default.
