Hello everyone, I'm in the market for a good 4K screen for pc, but monitors are so expensive I decided to get a TV instead.
I won't need a lot of connectors I think, except the obvious HDMI and/or DVI to plug it to my GTX 970 graphics card.

So I'd like to have your advice on the ChiQ U40E6000
https://www.chiq.com/product/u43e6000/

It's currently 259,99€ on Amazon, which is around my asking price for a monitor.
My only criterias for a screen is that it has to be around the 32~40inches sweetspot and be 4k resolution.

This particular TV has HDR+4K, which sounds a good deal for the price, but I have no idea of what to look at other than resolution.
It's the first time I'd be using a TV as monitor so I have no idea what some important things are to look at.

The main use I'll have of it is 50% desktop productivity etc, 30% youtube & video, and around 20% gaming.
Any input is appreciated,
Thank you very much for your help

For reference, here are my pc specs if it's relevant:
MSI X370 GAMING PRO CARBON Motherboard
Ryzen 7 1800X CPU
32GB RAM
nVidia GTX 970
Windows 10 Professional x64

I'd say it's a bad idea, especially when you plan on gaming at 4K.

There's a reason why PCs have dedicated monitors and not TVs to display the image. The main two would be refresh rate and response time.
Most TVs only have 60Hz refresh rate while there are some with 30Hz as well, which is enough to watch TV shows/movies. For gaming, 60Hz will do too but 144Hz makes gaming much smoother, especially with fast-paced games (FPS). 30Hz TV equals to 30FPS. So, there's that.
Also, for watching TV shows/movies, there's no need to have high response time. E.g that 4K TV has 8ms of response time. However, in gaming, response time does matter and that is especially crucial in fast-paced games.

Even if you don't mind the max 60FPS you'd be realistically seeing (due to 60Hz) and high response time (8ms), i'm sure you'd mind very low FPS in games. GTX 970 is equal to GTX 1060 3GB GPU and while it can do high/ultra settings @ 1080p, it will struggle @ 1440p. And with 4K, you'd be lucky if you'd get 20FPS on low settings.
