Question Would it be okay to leave the fan stickers(in the middle of the fan)on while installing the gpu

Forgot to take off those circle stickers while installing the gpu and now i can't uninstall it because i can't unlock the pcie latch.Would it be okay to just leave them?

i don't think they would be harming the GPU by being left on. A lot of fans have stickers on them anyway.

Only thing I can find is someone asking if removing them voids warranty - link - which would also be unlikley.

In that thread the op talks about adding custom stickers on them as well.I guess leaving the protective sticker isn't a problem if people are adding custom ones

Btw I'm talking about the transparent stickers on the Asus logo.Not the logo itself

those are mostly for shipping to protect card. the only concern I would have is if they got hot and peeled while card was in operation, but as they on front of the fans, you should be okay.

I don't remember if I took them off my card and its been in use for 8 months now, so I expect you okay

I have been watching some unboxing videos and most people peel every protective cover but those in most videos.So i guess I'm fine

some people enjoy peeling the stickers off, others enjoy watching it. I don't understand that myself but hey...

I took most of them off, such as the one on the back plate, as these are areas that might get hot. Expect the ones on fans are okay.
