Is it normal that my motherboard has 9 holes but I can only screw in 7 into the tower even with heatsinks( i used 2, and one is remaining not even being used)

Here is the plethora of cords( i understand they all go together and I read the manual but its all very confusing)

You use the cords from your power supply to plug into the PCI on the graphics card. The connectors in the picture can just get thrown out.
The GPU companies include them with their card so that people can buy and use their product with their junk power supplies that do not have the proper connections on it.

You don't need 5 fans (not sure if you are counting the cpu cooling fan or the power supply fan).
For a gamign PC like yours you should have at minimum 2 case fans. One for intake and one for exhaust.
If that is not sufficient then you should add a fan to the top for exhaust.
If that is still not sufficient you would add another for intake in either the front or bottom of the case.
Then the rest really depends on the case if you still need more cooling.
One of my towers has space for 2 fans on the top, 1 in the back, 2 in the front, 1 at the bottom AND 1 on the side.
The common sizes of fans on decent cases are 120mm and 140mm, which one completely depends on what case you have.

I have been getting the fractal design silent series when they are on special. They get good flow rate, low noise, and no ostentatious led lights.

Ok fractal design silent series is what i will look for, I connected that cord, am I ready to turn it all on? These are the remaining cords ( the ones that havent been plugged in)

I know you said thoes others arent used for anything, but what about the CPU cord?

i plugged those CPU cords into the ATX v12 power connector

And this little cord that came attached to the 3x molex connector cords...http://i.imgur.com/XCWqVUQ.jpg does it need to be plugged in ..there is a plug for it but the plug says CPU_fan1 and CPU_fan2( im assuming thats for extra fans?)

Am I ready to pretty much turn the PC on?
