i have thin clear sheat of plastic an iwant to close of my pc that is braced underneth my pc table wouild it be safe to use or no my mobo is mounted on a pice of wood
Regular vinyl plastic is not safe for PC components (if it should make contact) the bags on which components come packaged is special ESD safe vinyl and it's not cheap.
My advice would be to research which type of plastic you have and find if it's ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safe. Or treat your vinyl sheath with some form of antistatic compound.

I don't see that it's going to do any harm as long as ya keep vents clear, but I don't see it doing any good either. Must be PITA to use Mic, USB, headset pots and insert optical media.
