Would It Be Worth Getting A Better Cooler And The 7700k To Overclock?

For my build do you guys think it would be worth upgrading a little bit to overclock?

Firstly there wont be CPU cooler in box for 7700k also cooler is depending on the max overclock you are will to do. But a 240mm AIO will be sufficient for most overclock settings

Don't forget the PSU as well. Overclocking consumes more power.

hey i noticed that you have selected a z270 motherboard and i7 7700 non-k for the build. so ill rephrase the answer

the performance bump is significant from going to 7700k with max overclocking your cpu die can handle. Also you are already going with the z270 MB then the only price of CPU and cooler is added then its definitely a good thing in long run.
