Would it be worth selling?

Hello. I’ve been trying to save up for a 2080 ti for my pc and I noticed my old cpu goes for quite a bit but is kinda old do you think I would be able to sell a used i7 4790k and 16GB 2133mhz of DDR3 ram? The reason why I want to sell is that I made the mistake of getting a i9 9900k without having a good gpu and due to my life being horrible I’m kinda screwed and really hoping these can make me some money.

4790Ks like all older Intels have high asking prices but chances are they aren't selling for that. If you look on eBay and other used part sites sort the list by CPUs that actually have bids.

A 4790K really isn't worth much when you can get a Ryzen 1600AF (essentially a slightly slower Ryzen 2600) new for 85 Bucks.

That's not to say its not worth selling, but if you want it to actually sell adjust your expectations on what you are going to actually get.
