Currently, I have a GTX 680 FTW 4GB. I was looking at buying a 980 or a 970, but then I remembered I could SLI. I found a used GTX 680 on ebay for 250 dollars. A 980 is like $520, and a 970 is like $350 I think. Would do you guys think would be the best bang-for-buck?

Solution
680 sli is about the same as a 690.

and according to this the 980 is usually better than a 690 and the 970 is probably about the same and you dont have to deal with SLI

i think you should either get a gtx 970

or an r9 290x for a cheaper option that is as powerful as a 970 but is also less efficient and toasty hot...
