Question Would like general recommendations for a good 'business' laptop

For some reason the people at my work think I'm some kind of computer guru(not true), and a coworker asked for a recommendation for a laptop purchase. He wanted a general purpose laptop for business use(not gaming). I asked him if it needed any particular specs, but he didn't seem sure and just said it needed to be able to handle general stuff, like internet browsing, image sharing, etc(stuff I would imagine most laptops could handle just fine a decade ago). I asked about his budget, and again he didn't seem sure, but I got the impression he wasn't looking for anything particularly extravagant.

With this in mind, does anyone have any recommendations for good, general use business laptops? If there are any details that would help, let me know and I'll ask him and repost the answers.

Would have thought anything with 8GB of ram and a modernish dual core would do tbh. Can always buy one with a HDD and slap a 256GB SSD in for not much these days.
