would my current psu power an r9 280x?

my pc has a 600w psu but im not sure if it would actually last or even run an r9 280x

550 watts and 30 Amps on the 12 V rail is the minimum required for R9 280X.

A good 600 watts PSU will be adequate.

It looks a bit dodgy, as companies usually skimp on decent PSUs. You could always upgrade to a good one and get a 280X.
