I'm asking if I can run it, could I run elden ring and cyberunk at 2k 60fps with this setup? I don't care about super high frame rates because I've never owned a monitor that goes past 60 anywayso why not try 2k?
I know I cant run 4K, Im asking if I can run 2KThis system is a solid 1080 build. Graphics card alone isn't a 2K card, much less 4K. Even the highest of high end systems have issues with 4K unless using scalers or resolution/frame cheats.
thanksI thought my answer was pretty clear.
No, a 2060 is not a good 2K card.
30-40 FPS on Cyberpunk @ 2k High settingsI'm asking if I can run it, could I run elden ring and cyberunk at 2k 60fps with this setup? I don't care about super high frame rates because I've never owned a monitor that goes past 60 anyway
should I get a 2k and play at medium or a 1080 and run at high-ultra? What would look better?30-40 FPS on Cyberpunk @ 2k High settings

Your card is adequate, but do not expect to be running everything at maximum or high. I would stick to medium and I'm sure you'll be very happy.
What size monitor do you want and what is your price range? 1080p will not look good on a monitor bigger than 24 inches, whereas 1440p monitors look great even in ultrawide. They also tend to have higher refresh rates. That all comes at increased cost though.should I get a 2k and play at medium or a 1080 and run at high-ultra? What would look better?
I sit right by my monitor so 24 inches for 1080p and whatever the optimal size is for 1440p. My price range is £200 and below. What size monitor do you want and what is your price range? 1080p will not look good on a monitor bigger than 24 inches, whereas 1440p monitors look great even in ultrawide. Personally, I have a 1080 Founders Edition, which is a 7, almost 8 year old card, and I play on a 4k monitor. I am able to run all games at medium on 4k at 60 FPS. For me, the biggest difference is between low and medium. The difference between medium and high is small, and high and ultra is unnoticeable (to me).
If you give me size and price range, I'll give you a recommendation on what I'd personally buy.
Height and tilt adjustable, high refresh rate, Gsync stable…its slightly over your budget. This is about the cheapest and best 1440p monitor for the money.I sit right by my monitor so 24 inches for 1080p and whatever the optimal size is for 1440p. My price range is £200 and below.
so do you think I should go medium 2k or high 1080p? Which looks better?Height and tilt adjustable, high refresh rate, Gsync stable…its slightly over your budget. This is about the cheapest and best 1440p monitor for the money.
Respectable refresh rate, IPS, height and tilt adjustable as well, right under your price limit. The best 1080p monitor I could find under 200 pounds.
Can’t go wrong with either.
The 1440p monitor will appear sharper to your eye, and small details will be less pixelated. I play at medium settings on 4K and I think the games still look excellent. If they look good at medium at 4K, they will certainly look good on medium at 2K.so do you think I should go medium 2k or high 1080p? Which looks better?
Chinese junk. Lots of reviews saying the monitor came dead or died soon after. Stick to reliable and well known brands. Not to mention its not IPS, meaning the viewing angles and color accuracy is terrible. You will end up wasting money in the long term replacing a cheap 150 pound monitor once every year or two rather than a 215 pound quality monitor once every ten. I would personally rather throw my money into a fire pit than buy that monitor but it is up to you.alright I think I'm going to get a 2k, what makes the monitor you linked better than this cheaper one? https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CHJ8N9MJ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1
