Would my ram work with Asus ROG strix z370 f gaming?

I'm planning on buying the asus rog strix z370 f gaming to pair with an i7 8700k, so I wanted to know if G.Skill ripjaws V 2x8gb 3200 MHZ would be compatible. I read reviews and it said that sometimes it doesn't pick up your ram. Just wanted to be sure.

Also, is there a better board at around the same price point?

As long as it is ddr4, it should be fine.
I will suggest ASRock Extreme 4 if you want to save some money.

it "should" work as long as it is DDR4 ram. if you want ram guaranteed to work with that motherboard lookup that models QVL list for ram kuts that have been tested and verified to work on it
