As the question says would that peu be enough to power a R9 280x and/or a R9 290?

FX- 6350 (stock clocks for now)
8GB Corsair Vengeance Red
1tb hdd
120 GB ssd
Cd/dvd drive
7 total fans

it is enough but it is recommended to have 650W to allow less stress to your psu
