Would someone please list some good Mobo's for OC a Q6600?

Could someone list me some good Motherboards for the Q6600 that are OC friendly? I don't care if they support SLI or Crossfire.

P35 or X38 are best. ASUS Maximus Formula BIOS has been developed for extreme tweak. E8400 is a better choice, but if you are set on Q6600 works well too.

I got a q6600 on a p5k vanilla and imo its a great board, lots of features, overclocks well.

I will probably be doing some 3d Animation so I think I need the quad. I was thinking of doing a liquid cooled sytem?

Recommend me a good liquid cooler? Or even a good air cooler..... I also would want a good graphics card cooler.

Am hoping to make 3.6-5 Ghz 😗

Oh yeah and what is a good stable temp on the Q6600? What can they handle?

I think the X38 line is a waste of money for users that aren't looking for a Crossfire Solution. The P35 is perfectly capable of a high OC on any chip.

ASUS has 'upgraded' the BIOS for 'extreme' overclocking with the X38 Republic of Gamers boards like the Maximus Formula X38. I find the new BIOS t be a huge improvement.

That's one reason I went with X38-DS4. Couldn't wait to see a 3870x2 when they offered that in crossfire.

But now I'm headed out somewhere :/

Anyways, this board will get around 475MHz with F2 bios.
