I need a GPU (with display port) that can support 3 monitors and I just want to know if this will work in my system. If not what size PSU do I need, I did the PSU calculator and it say my system uses 456W which seems really high?

Dell Vostro 430
Intel Core i7 860 2.8GHz
8GB DDR3 RAM
Nvidia Geforce 310
PSU 350W

Actually it's a bit different when it comes to psu's. It's all about pus's efficiency. As for you, that calculation you did depends on psu's efficiency. It means it draws 456W power from the wall and provides 350W to your components. It's okay, and not too much when looking at your rig. An 6670 ( if it has ports ) will hardly be able to run 3 monitors. But It's not that strong enough to run all the 3 monitors at one time.(Someone correct me if I am wrong). If it did it will surely not be able to play games. Sorry bro. And if you did upgrade to 6670 I reccomend to upgrade you psu too. Although 6670 could run on a 350W psu.
Try to upgrade to a hd 7000 series gpu. The 7750 is even better and less power hungry than 6670.

Supports Eyefinity.

AMD Eyefinity multi-display technology
Native support for up to 4 simultaneous displays
Up to 6 displays supported with DisplayPort 1.2 Multi-Stream Transport
Independent resolutions, refresh rates, color controls, and video overlays
Display grouping : Combine multiple displays to behave like a single large display

AMD Eyefinity technology works with games that support non-standard aspect ratios, which is required for panning across multiple displays. To enable more than two displays, additional panels with native DisplayPort™ connectors, and/or DisplayPort™ compliant active adapters to convert your monitor’s native input to your cards DisplayPort™ or Mini-DisplayPort™ connector(s), are required. Support for six simultaneous displays may require complementary products compatible with DisplayPort 1.2 Multi-Stream Transport. Maximum number of configured displays may vary - check with your component or system manufacturer for specific model capabilities and supported technologies. SLS (“Single Large Surface”) functionality requires an identical display resolution on all configured displays.

Its not for gaming its just for general use, 3 standard 19" monitors. I have a budget of £90 and need a card that will output to 3 displays, I understand the 7750 may be better but I cant afford that aswell as a new PSU for it to run on.

Why would it hardly be able to run 3 monitors? I understand it as if its eyefinity then it should run them fine?

Sorry I dont have a 6670 yet I was looking at getting that but storm killer mentioned the 7750. If the 6670 will work ok with triple monitors for general use (NO gaming) I would rather get that as its cheaper.

Also if it just goes into the PCI E slot and doesnt use power from PSU will a 350W PSU be sufficent??

Then it's ok to run 3 monitors for general use (if they are full hd i'd reccomend not to) because Experts have said when I asked them, 6670 would struggle a lot/or less (let's hope less) with 3 monitors.
If they are not full hd then It's totally fine to run them. The reason I totally agree with that is my my friend told me that his hd 7850 1 gb is not that good while running 3 or 2 monitors.
