Would the gtx 1060 3GB be good enough?

Hello, i am willing to upgrade my gpu, i have a HD 7850, i can say it never dissapointed me but i consider that it's time to get a new one. So, since i am on a buget, can`t spend more than 300$, so i am targeting the gtx 1060 3GB. I live in Romania and here it is ~300 maybe a bit less like 290$. I know that the 6GB version is better but here, the 6GB version is 400+.

I am a pretty casual gamer, I play League of Legends(with breaks), some Overwatch, from time to time i play GTA V, but i dont really need to get on ultra settings, and also some WoW, but as I stated, not a hardcore gamer.

Here are a few but more important specs of my PC:
- Mobo: Asus P8H67
- CPU: Intel Core i7 2600 3.4GHz
- RAM: 16GB
- PSU: Corsair VS650
- GPU: Radeon Sapphire HD 7850 (which I intend to replace)
- SSD: Samsung 850 EVO

Will it be a good choice?

Regards,
Lorand

Solution
Ur whole rig is still good enough to sustain the new GPU, u don't have to to worry

Might want to consider to change the PSu though, sticking with the low tier PSU is not recommended :)

Yes, I forgot to mention, 1080p will be, i am currently using a 24' 1920x1080p(main) and a 22' 1680x1050 as a second monitor.

So there will not be any bottleneck? Good to hear that :D Thanks !

Yep, some lower CPU cans till work well with 1060 :)

it can handle up to GTX 1080 just fine imo (depends on the situation though)
so i don't think there's any bottleneck, unless the games are really demanding (in core speed where the old generation will fall behind, especially the locked one)
