[SOLVED] Would the i7-4770K be a good upgrade for my rig?

I found this used i7-4770k on ebay for $169 U.S. I currently have a i5-4690k. Would this be a good upgrade? and would it work on my Motherboard? I plan on upgrading my 4 1/2 year old 550W PSU to one of these 650W PSU's. I also want to upgrade my GTX 750ti to a GTX 1660ti or better GPU.

Processor will drop in but you're not going to see much of a difference. I would pick the Seasonic unit out of those PSU's.

Well.....it will get you about 25% more speed if it's worth it to you.

....and you shouldn't have to upgrade the BIOS.

It should work on your MB.

Your current cpu will become a bottleneck if you upgrade to a 1660ti. So yeah if you find a good deal for a 4770k or 4790k, go for it, it will give at least some performance boost. and you still can sell your old cpu for a decent amount.

Wouldn't recommend going higher than a 1660ti tho, a RX 590/580 or a normal 1660 also fit good with your cpu. (and way cheaper)
