would the monitor be good for gaming

I am going to buy a monitor for $179...asus vh238h 23" 1080p led monitor with ingraded speakers...would it be good for gaming...and is the speakers be enough or I should buy separate speakers...?

Built in speakers on any monitor are sort of crappy. lol. Just not enough room in the screen to get a good bass sound.

With that said, I have a 21" Asus vh series and it is a very nice looking screen. I can't find a fault with it, other than I want a 27" now. lol.
