I wish I'm asking in the right thread, I'm a certified noob in here, and I'm kind of confused with the categories & sub-categories.

Anyway, I'm planning to build a new rig and I need the experts feedback on what I'm planning to do. Cause there might be some important things that I might miss which then results to conflicts on my hardware, and most likely waste my father's hard earned money.

cpu: Intel Core i3 2120 3.35Ghz (Dual Core)

motherboard: lga1155 Asus P8H77 M LE

memory: Kingston 4gb ddr3 1333 (2 pieces)

gpu: Nvidia GeForce GT 440 (2gb)

hard drive: Seagate (1tb)

psu: Corsair CX430

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I cant believe it took me 2.5 hours to compose this message, and its 3:30am here in the Philippines! :D

Games all the way! :D

Ill buy these altogether from my favorite shop. But I think that the person in charge there would just say 'yes!, theyre compatible!' without even checking just to end the deal and the purchase

That Geforce 440 won't get you very far. Get the Radeon 7750 instead. It's the best sub-$100 GPU on the market. If you can squeeze it in your budget the Radeon 7770 will be ideal for games.

As for CPU the i3-3220 is newer and has a higher clock speed than the 2120 does. But get a full ATX board as opposed to an mATX one.

The CX430 has issues with Sandy Bridge / Ivy Bridge setups - I discovered this when I was building my HTPC. If you can get the Seasonic S12 430W that would be ideal, but if not the Antec Earthwatts E380 or E430 would be a good substitute.

1.)I forgot to exclude 3 things on the list, the Kingston DDR3, CX430 & GT440. Im already using those 3 in my current rig, so the other items would be brand new. (BTW, current rig is Dual Core E5200, Asus P5G41T-M LX, NVidia GT440 2gb, Kingston DDR3 4gb,Seagate SATA 180gb)

2.)My GT440 is still in mint condition and havent got any problems since i bought it,so yeah, still going to use it. :D

3.)Im thinking of buying the i3-3225 Ivy Bridge instead of the 3220. Because i discovered that it has this "HD4000", but would this matter? What's the difference? I understand that this is onboard gpu, so it wont change anything right? since Ill be using a separate GPU. (omg total noob, no clue at all)

3.b)So CX430 & i3 3225 is already a conflict?

3.c)Would the stock cpu fan be sufficient? Cause i already have (4) 72mm fans, 2 exhaust & 2 intake already.

4.)Which one's the best for my CPU?
Here are my choices, from the cheapest to the most expensive. (for my budget)

lga1155 Asus P8B75 M LE
lga1155 Asus P8B75 M LX
lga1155 Asus P8H61 M LX3 Plus
lga1155 Asus P8H61 MX USB3
lga1155 Asus P8H61-M LE USB3
lga1155 Asus P8H77 M LE

Sir, I thank you for the the knowledge & time you are giving me. You're an angel!
