Would this audio setup work

I need a headset for my Xbox, PC and soon my xbox one. The best choice i have found is the Astro A40 with the mix amp that will 100% work with my 360 and PC. i am wondering if there is some type of device that can use Digital audio (optic) and that will plug into both the One and 360, that will put both auto into one cable, the cable that goes into the mixamp. so i have both xbox audio channeling into the mix amp. (obviously i wont have them both on at the same time, but i don't want to be swapping cables all day) if someone could point me to a great product it would be greatly appreciated

I'd avoid the cheaper ones, they look to have a lot worse ratings.
