Would this be a good gaming PC?

Solution
(Overall)
- I hear Windows 8 is better for BF4. But you might not like W8, neither do I with those tiles.
- I would suggest a Western Digital 3.5" HDD Caviar Black models, at 7200rpm!!!
- If you're buying a gaming keyboard then get a gaming mouse: any Razor models, or Logtiech G9 (which is what I use)

(Gaming Hardware)
- Corsair Vengeance 16GB (8x2), better RAM makers
- Corsair or Seasonic PSU, could drop on a GOLD
- Your 2*GPUs are expensive, maybe you can half that price by SLI 2*GTX 780s.

Likewise, all of this depends on your budget - but it looks like that appears to not be an issue :)
Actually it's technically not well thought through. TWO GTX 690s driving two 1080p monitors is not a good match. Either upgrade the screens to 2560x1440, or get a 3rd screen for triple view, or maybe save yourself a lot of money and get just one GTX 690, or better still a single GTX780 (or HD7970 GHz edition) that will still max out any current title you throw at it in 1080p.

You need a different hardrive running at 7200 rpms over 5400 first of all. Second a better PSU is a necessity, Antec, corsair, seasonic, or XFX is the best. The graphics cards are overkill by alot, if you want 3 monitors at higher resolution or 2 at 4k sure it works, but for just 2 at 1080p the 7950 to R9-290x range, or 770-780 is a better choice. Save alot of money for something not needed.

Total: $3484.33

You can opt for your previous A-Data if you want. I just like WD (personal preference). And I changed your mouse+keyboard to give you a Razer starting line up (preference).

Saves you approx $800.

You could save another $511.99 by getting just ONE GPU. SLIed 780's are not required for current gaming at 1080p. Two high-end GPU's would be worth it if he upgraded his screen(s) to 2560x1440/1600, or went for triple view (btw does anyone game across two screens? Can you even do that?).

Well lots of people get SLI-ed GPUs if they want to enjoy a smooth and maxed out gaming experience without a cough. I chose the 780s primarily cause he originally had a SLI set up - SLI 770s would still suffice.

As for gaming on 2 screens, you are right - I'm not sure if feasible. But I'm sure he has his reasons (probably not gaming) for 2 screens, work/productivity reasons.
