My current System

gpu: 560ti 2gb

cpu: i5-2500

hdd: 1 tb 7200rpm

case:haf 922

RAm: 8 gigs

psu: 620 watt non-modualr seasonic. not capable of sli.

mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128502

If i were to buy another 560ti and this psu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371049&nm_mc=EMC-IGNEFL111512DE&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL111512DE-_-EMC-111512-Index-_-PowerSupplies-_-17371049-L0B

Of course i would buy the 560 ti and psu (or one similar to it) on black friday for good prices. Do you guys think this would be a cost effective purchase to prolong the life of my system? or should i wait for haswell and 700 series and upgrade with those?

That would be a good cost effective upgrade. Most games nowadays aren't going to need more than that unless you're running ultra high resolutions.

You'll get slightly better performance if you wait and upgrade later no doubt, but the cost vs the performance you'll gain will be a lot worse.
