Question Would this be a safe way to mount your hdd

Hello,

So, i have a computer but with no caddy.
So what I did was I got a piece of hard cardboard and reinforced it with electrical tape. Then, using the anti static bag, I covered it the cardboard to protect the PCB underneath the hard drive.

I then zip tied the harddrive to the cardboard. Would this be okay?

Note that there are no holes or side panels for zip ties or any of those bungee cord ideas.!

Sounds like that HDD will be suffering from no air flow because of that cardboard. A picture would help. Use imgur.com to link the picture here. There is no HDD cage anywhere in your case and it did not come with one?
