Would this be an adequate PSU?

I'm looking at using a Cooler Master GX550w PSU to power the following:

- 2500K
- Gigabyte 2GB 7850
- 8GB Corsair 1333MHz RAM
- 500GB HDD that came with old MESH PC
- Asus P8H61 M-ATX Motherboard

I'm pretty clueless when it comes to PSU's and the PSU calculator websites say that ~300w should be adequate for the entire PC, whereas the AMD website says I need a minimum of 500w for the 7850 alone; any positive feedback would be appreciated.

Good to go. Some will say that it doesn't leave much room for safe component expansion, but given your current system you'll probably do several other upgrades along with the PSU altogether when the time comes for more performance.

very adequate PSU..
I edited my post because I just read up on the reviews.
I suggest a more reputable brand and preferably 80+ certified with the necessary pci-e plugs for your GPU.
