Would this be good for a gaming PC?

My friend wanted to get into pc gaming and he wanted a decent pc that could run most games on high-ultra so I picked out some parts and I am looking to see would these be good for gaming.

CPU: i5-4570

GPU: Sapphire R9 270X Dual-X OC with Boost

Mobo: Asus Z87-A

PSU: EVGA 600B 80PLUS bronze

RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury 2x4GB 1600mhz CL10

Case: Corsair Carbide 200R

HDD: WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM

OS: Windows 8.1 64-Bit

Yeah but if the CPU is not unlocked save money and go with a H97 board instead of a Z97.
