Would this be PASSIVE or ACTIVE Displayport adapter?

I am trying to run three monitors on my Radeon HD 7800 graphics card, the computer detects the monitor just get no picture. I picked this up at my local Fry's Electronics, but I can't tell if its active or passive.

Appreciate all the help, if someone could link me to one that fry's electronics has I would even more be grateful

The product you have is meant for Mac devices though it's unclear if it's an active or passive variant. You should be looking at an adapter like this.

Might I ask what your full system's specs are inclusive of your monitors?
