Im new to overclocking. And wouldn't necessarily need to, however i had to settle on my processor. So here are my stats, would this be safe to overclock? (and while your at it, is my processor and video card good?)

Processor: AMD FX-8350 4.00 GHz Eight-Core AM3+ CPU 8MB L2 Cache & Turbo Core Technology

Cooling: Asetek 510LC Liquid Cooling System 120MM Radiator & Fan (Enhanced Cooling Performance + Extreme Silent at 20dBA) with push pull fans with standard coolant

Motherboard: CrossFireX] ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 AMD 970 Chipset CrossFireX Support DDR3 Socket AM3+ ATX w/ 7.1 Audio, GbLAN, 2 Gen2 PCIe X16, 2 PCIe X1 & 2 PCI

Memory: Dual channel 8gb

Video card: AMD Radeon HD 7770 1GB 16X PCIe 3.0 Video Card

Power: 800w

Hardrive: 2tb

Also would this be a good gaming computer? And how far could i overclock? 10%?

OC guide:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCIWTX-jy9A

tools o monitor clu temp and MHz:
http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

Make sure not to go over 90c.
75c is safe, for some its the highest you want to go.

to go into bios you might have to hit your key board like crazy, or find what button to press to go into it (maybe del, or F10)

Oc is just increaseing the MHz of the cpu until your system crashes. then add just a TINY amount of Voltage. Adding volts is where you can decrease the life of your cpu.

its kinda easy, at first I was scared to OC, but now its like whatavar!

Have fun, and good luck
