Would this build work for running Rocket League?

I am building a PC for my mate who wants to run Rocket League and maybe some other basic games and just wanted to check I'm barking up the right tree spec wise.
I'm thinking of using:

Gigabyte B360M D2V
Intel i3 8100
4GB DDR4
GTX 550 Ti

My concern is the CPU. Any help appreciated :)

Thanks in advance

Solution
do you own any parts already?
if not, budget and country?
ram too small
gpu on the weak side.
However, it will run rocket league well, as it is not demanding games. CPU is way more powerful than GPU in your case.

No I'm buying 'new' (the GPU is used as he's on a budget). Would 4GB be totally insufficient? Could stretch to 8GB but would obviously be double the price! What GPU would you suggest - Ideally the cheaper the better (Sub £50 used?). Glad to hear about the CPU!

My best bet if buying new:

Thanks for this but I'm still unclear as to why this (especially the CPU and mobo combo) is better that the system I originally suggested as on passmark the CPU has a higher score and is cheaper than the Ryzen 3?

Sorry to be a pain 🙁
