You are right to be scared the Tr2s are horrible power supplies. Get one of these

I would seriously consider getting at least a 650W quality unit. Since you have an 8320 and a 290x and I assume you plan on OCing both, I would not hesitate to get 750W.

Not going to be a whole of cpu overclocking going on on the motherboard he choose. It just doesn't have the VRMs for any serious overclocking.

I would seriously consider getting at least a 650W quality unit. Since you have an 8320 and a 290x and I assume you plan on OCing both, I would not hesitate to get 750W.

this option will be cheaper, with better combo discount, but have a worst motherboard for overclocking, but I think you can reach the desired speed. But that will not be very important in gaming. The CPU will not bottleneck the GPU even at clock speed.
