You need a B/H/Z3xx level motherboard.

iirc 8th gen intels require a 300series motherboard so wouldnt work with a 100series.

and as person above said if u plan to overclock your CPU (since it is a k it can be) you'd need a Z3xx series one. (as b/h dont allow OCing afaik)
