Would this future set up work alright?

Hi everyone,

I am just learning how to build my own PC and am having trouble working out what part will work, or support with what.
So far, I have this.

CPU
Intel® Core™ i7-2600K Processor
Motherboard
Crosshair V Formula
Case
HAF 932 Advanced or Antec 1200 V3
RAM
Vengeance™ — 4GB Dual Channel DDR3 Memory Kit
Graphics Card
NOTHING YET
Hard Drive(s)
NOTHING YET
Optical Drive
NOTHING YET
Power Supply
Corsair TX750 V2 750W

Will everything work alright? I read on http://www.asus.com.au/Motherboards/AMD_AM3Plus/Crosshair_V_Formula/#CPUS that it does not support the CPU I chose. It only supports like, two brands or types?

Can someone help me out with this? Thank you.

It will tell you not to bump. Honestly, you did it twice in one hour. There's no such thing as a bump on Tom's.
So.
-What's your budget? That's what'll decide all your parts.
-2500K. It's equivalent to the 2600K in gaming (which I assume is what you're doing?) and costs $100 less.
-8gb RAM. It's not essential, but it's nice to have headroom, and it's only $25ish more. I recommend G. Skill Ripjaws 1600.
-Apparently the Samsung Spinpoint drives are good.
-The optical drive can be anything with good reviews on Newegg. It can be cheap.
-That PSU is overkill for any one graphics card. It can handle two of most non-highest-end models. The PSU that you'll get will be determined by your graphics card(s).
