Question Would this PC be good for $1600 AUD

Hi everyone,

Please note this is Australian Dollar - AUD, so it’s about $1000USD.

My friend works at a computer store and offered me a i5-12600k, Z690 Tomahawk DDR5 Motherboard and 64GB 4800MHz DDR5 Corsair Vengeance and a 750w Corsair PSU for $1000. I’ve also found a RTX 3070 8GB for $500 and $100 Phanteks P500 with 4 RGB fans and controller.

I don’t have some spare so yes. Would the 64GB 4800MHz be a good option?

For what he is offering you, the price appears to be quite the discount, from what I can see. You don't really need that much ram, right now, but you definitely won't have to worry about ram capacity, for probably the life of the PC.
