Would this PC still be viable for gaming?

Thinking of upgrading the CPU, memory and graphics card but would like advice first. Good power supply already upgraded as well as adding an SSD hard drive and blue ray drive.

Looking to get Destiny 2 possibly haven't decided yet.

u can't ugrade the cpu if you stay with that motherboard and then you need to upgrade you ram to and than you can beter buy a new pc . but if u only change the ram to 16 gb and the gpu to a 1070 or so and you can run destiny 2 at medium at 1920*1080 60+ fps

The i5-2500k is still a good cpu, don't upgrade

8gb ram is ok, but 16gb is better

Graphics card: the biggest one you can fit in your case and fit in your budget. you haven't given us your budget yet btw

Whats your psu in the article they jsut say 450 or 500w but what brand and name does it have. A crappy 450 will not allow any decent gpu to work in it.

Not sure but I upgraded the power supply last year and sure It's a good one.
