If the motherboard does not support 2133 speed, the ram will operate at a lower default speed.
Go to the corsair web site and access their compatibility configurator.
enter your motherboard and you will get a selection of compatible kits.

It is usually cheaper and better to get 16gb in a 2 x 8gb kit.

Yes it should work fine, for whatever reason on the Sabertooth models they list 1866 as the highest DRAM, but have XMP support in the BIOS for higher, have run 2400 sicks on the X79 ST

So then they will work? They support XMP profile 1.3. I dont know if the sabertooth does, or do all mobo's support that now?

Yes, they'll be fine, you don't mention CPU so will toss out a small CPU OC may be required to run at 2133, nothing drastic

i have a 4960x. im in need of a new mobo. im new to oc'ing so i dont really want to push it. would it still be fine if i ran at stock speed for the cpu with 2133mhz?

would a 4gb stick on one side of the mobo, and the other 4gb stick on the other side of the mobo be okay or should the 4gb sticks be on the same side?

You have a quad channel mobo, so the 4x4 would be the optimal for rig, 2x4 or 2x8GB will reduce all to dual channel
