Would this setup work for 1080p high performance playing csgo and overwatch?

Is this enough for csgo, overwatch and pubg? Or should I upgrade any of the components?

16gb is the standard for gaming today, I really wouldn't suggest less. Otherwise, you are good.

And I just noticed you have a 5400 rpm hdd. thats only good for media like music, movies, and documents. get a 7200rpm at the very least.

If I were you, I'd get some more ram and that ram should be clocked at DDR4-3200MHz. i.e 2x8GB DDR4-3200MHz and add in an SSD to the picture.

You can still get by with 8gb of memory and a SSD is a nice to have but not a must have is it means skimping on the performance parts to get it.

I would switch to the 6 core i5 8400 though and a 7200 RPM drive.

If the budget allowed for either a SSD or 16gb of memory but not both I wouldctake the extra memory.

that hard drive may have issues loading in pubg (bread house), if you can accord a $50 120GB ssd, it will improve loading time.
also, when you say high performance, do you mean 60 fps or 144 fps at max detail? system cpu, gpu are very capable for 60 fps max setting, you will need to tweak some setting to medium for a solid 144 fps.

main concern is that hdd, at least change it to a 7200 rpm one if you don't want to spend extra $ on a ssd.
