I still want to use Windows 7 until 2020 and possibly upgrade to Windows 10 at that point.
So with a Skylake i3-6320... instead of buying a Z170 board now, could I buy a Z270 board instead & then when I'm ready for a new CPU in a few years, pick up a Kaby Lake CPU and have it work right away with my pre-existing Z270 board?
I would just buy a Kaby Lake CPU now + Z270, but I want to make sure I can still use Windows 7 as long as possible before upgrading, because I have audio gear that work perfectly with Windows 7.
