Hi.

I hope someone can help.
After searching for ever, I finally landed on this monitor. (I hope its a decent choice)
BenQ MOBIUZ EX3415R 34 Inch IPS WQHD 1900R Ultrawide

But the stand is huge, and way to big for my "sofa desk" would take the 12.6kg, but not the width of the stand.

So I looked at alternative stands, not wanting a clip on one. I found these two.
This one being ideal, as its a single monitor stand, has a 35kgs weight limit, but only says "up to 32" It also has a smaller footprint which would help, but is not an absolute necessity. But would it hold a 34"

Then there is this one, that says 34", and has a larger base area, says it holds 2 x 20kgs screens.
But I only have one screen, and only want 1.
I have read that it comes in two pieces.
So, possibly could be used without the extended portion, for one screen.

But as well as the above questions, the main one is.
I don't know if the bracket, would fit the monitor, if I did not attach the included huge V shaped BenQ stand.
Are these brackets, (screw holes, spacings, shape etc) standard for monitors?

Can anyone advise please.

Sorry for the long explanation.

I appreciate any and all help.

Solution
You're good to go with either stands since they are VESA 100x100 as is the mount on the monitor. I'd get the mount/stand that accepts a single monitor if I were you.

Could you parse the sofa desk that you're working with?
Hi Lutfij
Thank you so much for this reply.
I really appreciate your confirmation, and even more that the single monitor stand would be your choice, as I really wanted to get that one.

I wasn't sure what you meant by "parsing the sofa desk"

The one I have now is old. It is a kind of "under bed/sofa" types, with castors at the rear, and straight legs going forward, and similar secured to the table top.
Its about 55cm x 40cm, very robust.

I have been scouring Amazon for days trying to find one, maybe a little larger, with enough weight capacity, castors and leg room underneith. But cant, they are either the same'ish size, but flimsy, or suspect on the weight.
Or about 100cm wide, that is just to big, as I needit so I can move it, around. So I can use the monitor when cycling.
Sorry to go on about desks I know this wasn't the question.

But this VESA stand on BenQ or an Alienware Monitor. (But I really am having issues justifying £1100 pounds for a monitor. Also I have read about "burn-in on OLED, and as I leave my monitor on for ages would be a worry.

But this stand would allow me to put either on this old table, until I can find one that is right.
Sorry again massive response.

I am very pleased you recommend the single Vesa, and confirm it would work.
Thank you very much.
