Would this system work?

Want to know if this system will work or not

Graphics card: GTX 650 or GTX 970 ( I don't know yet my friend might be giving me his 970, if not I will keep my gtx 650)

CPU: AMD FX 6300

Motherboard: BIOSTAR TA970

Also, would the gtx 970 bottleneck the FX 6300?

The FX 6300 will bottleneck. Get at least a 8320 to justify the GTX 970. With the GTX 650, the 6300 is great.
Don't get that Biostar motherboard, it's just bad. Get a ASUS M5A97 R2.0 or a Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P.

The Sentey case seems ok-ish, but everything seems to be so tight and there seems to be no good air flow.

Don't forget to put in a good power supply for the system.

Thanks man but I can't afford a 8320 my budget is 225, I already have a 500 watt, so if I use the GTX 970 with the 6300 will it really LAG me or will it get to the highest the 6300 can go?

It won't lag, but the performance will be capped by the 6300. In some games it won't matter, in some(mostly new) games it will.
What PSU do you have(brand, model)?

That power supply isn't the greatest nor the worse. It will do the job but I'd suggest not overclocking the system.
Also, make sure the card will fit in the case you have.
