Hello!
I am just wondering about upgrading my system to include a GPU. I am curious about which one to get.

I have a budget of around £100 or less. (I am only 14 so I can't afford a very expensive Graphics Card.)

At the moment I have a Intel Celeron G1610 and a 230w Power Supply and I am using Intel Graphics to play games.

I have been told by many different sources that if I do choose to get a graphics card then I wouldn't need to upgrade my 230w power supply but I'm not too sure about that.

Anyway I would really appreciate it if someone could help!

Thanks in advance,

Liam

Your motherboard is a good one but your processor is a bit weak. The other poster is right that even with a GPU upgrade you might not be able to play the latest games. What is your monitor resolution and what games do you want to play??? Also did you see the link that I posted??

My motherboard model is a GIGABYTE GA H61M DS2 DVI and I don't know the brand of power supply bu I know it is 230W.

Thanks

My monitor resolution is 1920x1080 and I am not really looking to p,lay allof the latest games, more like games such as gmod, Besiege, The Sims 4 and Cities: Skylines. I know that the setup with the GPU upgrade wouldn't be able to run all of the latest games but I usually buy those on console so I only want to play games that I can't get on console on my computer. (If that makes any sense 😛)

Thanks

OK! What would you recommend? Sorry for all the questions!
