Question Would Using The Acer Predator Bifrost A770 Vertically Be Fine?

What the title says. Considering it uses quite a different mechanism for one of the fans I am not sure if it would be safe to use like that. I'm doing an M-ITX build and noticed the way a lot of people put the GPU down was very close to the case floor which would be sub-optimal for cooling and I'd also quite like the sight of the RGB visuals (not going to lie quite a major reason for choosing this GPU also).

Perfectly fine. Squirrel cage fans aren't that different to axial fans. They just throw air out the side rather than through.

Well, not sure I like the case with the closed off front panel. Not clear how you plan to pull off a vertical mount GPU either. You should get a chassis designed for that layout with the included PCIe 4.0 riser.

1080p monitor is a little light even for an A770. Certainly a 1440p capable card in quite a few games. (I am shocked that most of the alternatives are completely sold out in the UK)

I would not bother with a 500GB SSD unless you already have it. 1TB for the boot drive at least. I can't fault the 4TB drive being PCIe 4.0. DirectStorage is likely to be an impact at some point.
