So my build i slisted below, I have just added a ASUS Strix GTX1070 08G to my system, I have my clock st 4.5 GHz curently. I'm generally hitting around 74c at max game load. Would it be worthwhile going watercooling to push the clock higher? I eventually want to update to a skylake build when the prices drop off, which could be 6 months to a year.

Solution
You could lower your temps with a good AIO if thats what your after. However, unless you really want to push the voltage, its unlikely you can go much higher in clockspeed even under water. Ivy Bridge doesn't go much higher than 4.5Ghz for most.
