Would you change anything?

Nov 24, 2012
Hey guys. Long time lurker, first time poster. I'm going to be building a new computer and I'm wondering if you would change anything. I mainly use my computer for gaming/streaming.

CPU: Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D14 65.0 CFM CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V PRO ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage: Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB Video Card
Case: Cooler Master HAF 922 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Corsair Professional 650W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply

Thanks for taking a look.
Drop the i7 to an i5-3570k. Hyperthreading doesn't help games.

That's an expensive motherboard - you'd do fine for less. I like the Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H.

8GB ram is more than enough; it'll run battlefield 3, photoshop, and 20 tabs open in chrome, all at once.

You want a beefier graphics card than that - I'd go with a 670 if you really want Nvidia. (There are some amazing sales on them right now, too.)
