Now is the if and only if a boolean algebra term or you're just saying ?

The monitor will be available for niche markets I guess. I seldom see myself need a monitor that can be seen in sunlight... come to think of it, it would be great in my phone. And the price hike would be smaller on a small device.

You gotta love Tom's. When they see a piece of crap, they tell us all to walk around it. Thanks for the heads up guys.

I never did like tablets & wouldn't even pay the $1000-00cents either. Although this maybe a better product, these products where really made for business ideas & not for personal pleasure, but if your into porn it maybe of some use.

This is what happens when you don't do your marketing research. Basically you run the product through a few perception tests and asking people what is the minimum-maximum price they would pay for such a device.

I don't know what they were smoking but for $1000 you can get a very good Sony Vaio or Lenovo ThinkPad, or even a MacBook Air.

Why the Apple bias in your last paragraph Tom's? Have you gone stupid consumer soft and need the no longer present Steve Jobs to tell you what you want and need?

Granted the Sol products are insanely priced for the crap you get... wait, so are Apple products... are you drawing a connection?!?! :)

Far too much money for a refurbished chinese tablet, well over a $1099.00 cents. What a rip off, even from Hong Kong through the eBay site, they charge heaps for OEM cpus. Higher prices than the retail boxed variety.

I'd have to say no...If I can buy a tablet for $400 - $500, and an e-reader for $150 or so, wouldn't $600 - $700 be a more appropriate price?

No way would I spend $1000 on an item like that.

Complete rip off. But, still a better use of money than the iPad2!
