I dont have a dedicated gamer PC, just want to improve my graphics for Warcraft.

Current system is:

Acer Aspire AX1301
Windows 7 64bit
AMD Athlon IIx2 (215 dual core)
3gb ddr2
nVidia Geforce 9200HD (integrated)

Ok, so I play warcraft currently (DX10) at about 11fps, and at a lower res, and want a low profile DX11 card that will get me closer to 30fps at full res.
My budget is limited to £100.

Thanks in advance.

So you saying my Processor is not up to scratch ?

I dont want a dedicated gaming PC, just more than 11fps !

Thoughts on my onboard 9200 HDMI ??

I have enabled dx11, but didnt notice any increase in FPS, just prettier textures.

I have also inserted a Geforce 7300 GS to enable extended desktop, thoughts on this card ?

Thanks...but will a 240GT give me a marked improvment, even though its only a DX10 card ?

The GTS450 looks the business, is this a low profile card ?

Read Toms review of WoW:Cata. A 6 core AMD scored lower then a dual core Intel. A dual core AMD is in no position to provide high frame rates in WoW. The 9200 you have now isn't DX11, so you couldn't enable it. The GTS450 does come in low profile, but its harder to find. The 5770/6770 would be easier to find.

Updated drivers, new option gives me ability to tweak/disable monitor/video card sharing etc.
Finally teaked to allow me to get 43 FPS on wow at 1360x768. Bizarrely, a lower resolution also gives a lower framerate (32fps)

Unfortunately, the chip on my mobo is non-changeable, so I'll need a mobo/chip/psu/case to use a better GPU :(

Damn budget PC's......
