Any europeans playing this game now then? Me and Teh Windmeister are
on the Argent Dawn server, being undead fellas. Bring your own snacks.

Do undead eat bags of hell?

When the llama speaks you listen. Unfortunately the llama hasn't spoken

No, they hand out plagued grain. And no one questions why skeletons are
giving them food to eat.

Well, be glad you're not the one playing with him. He's now gone
through all the races and classes without finding out which one to
pick...

Got a mage on Uldum, still...what's your character's name?

Malak, undead warlock.

But aren't you on the US version? They use different servers, unless
they've implemented the cross-server thing during the last day or so.

I've created an undead Rogue named Siminoc on a realm that calls itself
Argent Dawn. We'll be able to tell later if it's the same realm.

If you're using the US version of the game, i.e., the version that was
released three months ago, it's not possible to connect to the
European realms as of yet, AFAIK. The US server list lists a realm
called Argent Dawn as well, but I'm pretty sure it's not the same
one...

*Everyone* seems to be playing WoW these days. Seriously, people!

It's quite tempting to start playing it, but I don't think I have
enough time to spare for gaming, so it would be a waste of money.

But how does one keep in touch with friends? Is there an easy way to
find your friends in WoW and/or coordinate when people go online? How
does it work?

There's an in-game contact list you can add people to and you can send
people messages, regardless of where in the game world they're
located. If you're both a member of the same guild, you can also check
when the various members where last online, down to the minute.
There's also an IRC-style interface and you can join your own channels
if so desired...
Finally, there's the in-game mailing system where you can send people
mail, and also send them money or items.

Of course, you'll need to be on the same server as your friends for
any of this to work, and also the same faction (alliance or horde).

Let's agree on this - just don't tell him
