[SOLVED] Wraith prism cooler problem

I just built my system with Ryzen 3900x and wraith prism cooler. I attached the RGB cable to play around with it and the cooler stopped working, keep getting cpu fan error. I installed an old fan and everything else works fine. I connected the cooler to chassis fan connector and it can work. However when I mount it on the cpu, it suddenly doesn’t work. When I take it off it works again. Anyone know how to fix? I bought off amazon and they have a replacement coming too.

So when you 'move it to the cpu' are you changing where you connect it to?

I figured it out. It was a faulty cable. Moving the cable around turns it on and off.
