Hi,

I created a new PC with the new Ryzen 2700X/Wraith Prism cooler and the Asus Crosshair VII Hero motherboard.

The cooler is constantly spinning in the highest speed which is noisy. I would like to know if it is possible to make it spin in a variable speed in accordance to the CPU workload, so that I can have a quiter experience.

Would you please be able to advise if it is possible and how to enable this automatic cooler speed variation?

Thank you so much!

Solution
It has to be plugged in proper header in the MB usually marked CPU_FAN. You should be able to set proper curve in BIOS.
There's also a switch on the cooler itself to limit top RPMs.

Thanks for the reply mike. It is connected in the CPU_FAN, so I will check in the BIOS what options I have there.
